Directions:
From Oslo and the surrounding area via Jondalen: Follow the E18 towards Drammen, take exit 25 onto the E134 towards Haugesund / Kongsberg. In Kongsberg, continue on Fv40 towards Geilo, take the exit towards Rjukan on Fv37. Follow Fv37 from Jondalen to Gransherad before turning right onto Tinnsjøvegen (Fv37). Follow the signs to Rjukan. Before you get to Rjukan, there is a sign for Gaustatoppen. Take the road and drive Fv651 up Svineroivegen (Zombie hill) to the next exit. See the sign to Gaustablikk. Turn left and follow Kvitåvatnvegen for about 3.5 km until you see the destination on your right. Welcome to Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell!

Alternative summer route over Gaustaråen: From Oslo - follow the E18 towards Drammen, take exit 25 onto the E134 towards Haugesund / Kongsberg. In Kongsberg, follow the signs to Notodden, continue on E134. Drive through Notodden and continue towards Heddal / Sauland. At Sauland there are signs to Rjukan / Gaustatoppen and Tuddal. Take this exit and continue on Fv651. This road takes you over Gaustaråen (mountain pass) which is closed in the winter. At the first possible exit, there is a sign for Gaustablikk. Turn right and follow Kvitåvatnvegen for about 3.5 km until you see the destination on your right. Welcome to Gaustablikk Høyfjellshotell!
